Might decide to edit the topic later, but just curious if there is anyone in the Romantics Community who will be jumping back into World of Warcraft for a bit when this releases?

Sadly, no. I must resist as this game took over my life once.

Their CS team is really good, you can schedule a callback so they call you.

They bumped the subscription price in the UK, so I don't think I'm going to bother. They want £10 a month, up from £6, because the £ is too strong or some rubbish.

I have been REALLY tempted... I've heard it's actually pretty excellent and I always did have a huge amount of fun with WoW back when I was playing it. The problem for me is that I can't play WoW without being hardcore about it and doing every raid boss etc...
Needless to say it would take over my life.

I'm lucky as I've never really gotten sucked into raiding. I enjoy it, but I never wanted to have to deal with the strict schedule a lot of guilds had. With the new raid modes (easier 10 mans for PUGs and scaling raid difficulty for non-traditional numbered groups) I might actually do them this time though...if I start playing again.

If you do start playing again, where are you at in the game? Have you finished Pandaria or Lich King?

Ok. Same here. I booted up the game to have a look at stuff and was just confused lol. Haven't played at all since Cataclysm raiding. Stuff has drastically changed. I haven't done hardcore raiding since Lich King though so I only had 1 character at 85 as well. My Death Knight is 85 and my Shaman is 82.

>.< I started a new character, because so much has changed. I've enjoyed it so far.

I've been playing it casually, and really enjoying it. Horde on Earthen Ring. I left early-Cataclysm (since it sucked), tried Pandatown for about a day and didn't like it. WoD pulled me in right off the bat. The storyline is good, cinematics are awesome, questing is really streamlined, and it's overall just "fun." The Garrison thing (your own small fort to manage) is pretty cool.
(also, if you buy the expansion, you get one free boost-to-90, which is cool)
When I started playing though, after a 2+ year break, I was pretty much like:
