In no particular order - I think that would be just too difficult. Limiting it to just 5 is already a big enough problem. Also, if you're feeling ambitious link the movie to its imdb page so we can know what are you talking about as soon as possible.

I'll start:

- Blade Runner

- The Game

- Groundhog Day

- 2001: A Space Odyssey

- aaand.... all Quentin Tarantino movies? fine, I won't cheat, I'll pick one

- Inglorious Basterds

And I better "allow" multiple posts here because I just know I'll remember some other great movies later and want to add them to the list :D. Like the Godfather, or Matrix, or Star Wars.

You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens.

I won't claim them to be "the best" but instead the 5 I've enjoyed ahead of most others:

-Tombstone

-Oh Brother Where Art Thou?

-Count de Monte Cristo

-Shawshank Redemption

-Braveheart

These I can usually watch over and over.  Some I can see again, but the value was in the first time watching:

-The Prestige

-Desperate Measures

And some more that will make me laugh every time:

-Bad Boys II

-Blazing Saddles

Hmm, this won't be a list of space sci-fi, but I will make this unordered list anyway. :-)

Die Hard

Iron Man

Die Harder

The Rock

Die Hard with a Vengeance

I like them. Although earth-tied, I like them. Yeap.

Stay romantic, be nice, forgive the flawed person, and render humility. I put my trust in people, that means you. Nothing is gained if you squander that.
